I had issues with a Lenovo laptop, and called for advice or a quote. They responded quickly even well past most places close. They offered honest advice, even when most would jump at the opportunity to "take a look at it" just to charge diagnostic fees. While I was turned away, it was for the right reasons, and I was not screwed out of my money. I would recommend giving this place a call, the professionalism and honesty is hard to find nowadays, especially in electronics where most are not as proficient and easy to con.

Steve was able to help us immediately after my computer was hacked. He cleaned up both of our computers remotely, so no one had to drive anywhere. He was very patient with us "not-so-techy" people. One of my husband’s most prized possession is his custom built PC. He spent a lot of time and money building his dream PC so when we had just moved and our new water softener system unfortunately flooded and damaged his PC, he was devastated. This is my second time using Steve at TexasPCDoctor to fix my computer issues. Two years ago, a flaky "high end" laptop was shutting down unexpectedly. Steve troubleshot the problem to a faulty motherboard caused by flex and heat from an of an under-engineered design. The laptop was not economically worth fixing and Steve did not charge me for the hours spent verifying the problem because he said he "did not fix my problem." I bought a desktop to avoid another laptop fiasco. I was at my wit's end when my two-yr old desktop machine went from "Iffy" behavior (Windows 10 updates would not load) in December to operationally "wild & crazy" in February. The RAM and CPU utilization percentages started taking turns rapidly fluctuating between 30 and 100% causing the work tempo to crawl to Win3.0 processing speeds. I was not happy! I called Steve. He asked a few questions and recommended I uninstall a certain antivirus program and try the Windows update again. One call. Three questions. One recommendation. One solution. He's GOOD!! Oh, and he didn't even break a sweat. IF you have PC issues THEN you should call TexasPCDoctors. Their "Cyber Surgery" has guarantees and they back them up!

Steve is a top notch teacher (and technician). He set up my home pc system; rather than overwhelming me, Steve waited until he completed the setup before sitting with me as he walked me through the process of signing in to the new system. THEN (and this is what sets him apart and above others in his profession) he sat with until I successfully logged into my system by myself. Moreover, Steve makes himself available (online or by phone) for any questions I've had about my system. I am truly grateful for Steve and his professionalism!
